For The Nerd Perch, Disneyland is one of those places that we will never tire of. Many of our weekends are spent at the Happiest Place on Earth, indulging in a churro (or two) and searching for Hidden Mickeys. On several trips, we have found ourselves wandering around the parks looking at decorations and forgetting about the rides all together!
One of our favorite times at Disneyland is, by far, Halloween. From the carved pumpkins lining Main Street to the sweet new smells pouring out of the shops, it never disappoints. When the halloween decorations come out, The Nerd Perch family moves in.
Our first stop is always Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday, where Jack Skellington takes over the spooky manor and fills it with his own holiday haunts. While the Nerd Perch kids are busy laughing away at the tombstones lining the queue, the rest of the Nerd Perch family is gawking at the glorious decorations. We spend 20 minutes pouring over every inch of the mansion, with its bounty of nerdspiration.
